Using presentation, case studies, and discussion format, this presentation will explore the potential reasons (fertility issues, health considerations, same sex couples, etc.) clients may consider family planning using nontraditional means and the impact these reasons may have on client functioning. The presenters will also examine different options (adoption, in vitro fertilization, surrogacy, etc.) available to those seeking nontraditional family planning methods and the benefits and challenges of each of these methods.
