Grief is challenging at any time of the year, but during the holiday season, which is often inundated with traditions and memories, the stress and pain of grief can be overwhelming. As school counselors, we can support students with the loneliness and heartache they may be feeling. This session will share the activities and resources used to hold stand-alone holiday and grief workshops so you can easily replicate them in your own school to help your grieving students cope and feel less alone in their grief. Attendees will be invited to participate in a grief closing ritual activity.
