Trauma may not look the same to everyone. Trauma can come in many forms. From big T trauma to an ACE score being a 2. ACE scores can help predict how a student will succeed in a classroom. When having students who have trauma being dysregulated can come fast in a classroom setting. Knowing techniques to help with regulation, building positive relationships, knowing when to push them in the classroom and how to use proper counseling techniques to support the students is imperative to having them succeed both in and out of the classroom setting.
