This presentation aims to identify the importance of moving away from traditional school discipline by discussing ways to work with administrators to incorporate restorative justice when handling behaviors and discipline. We will also discuss how to empower teachers in managing behaviors through useful interventions and flow charts. Lastly, we will focus on how this can look on various tiered support. It is important that students learn from their mistakes and how they can repair relationships that have been harmed by their actions.
