Counseling code of ethics (and Ohio state law) require therapists to be trained/competent in teletherapy in order to provide distance-based services. This session reviews legal and ethical guidelines as well as additional best practices for counselors practicing teletherapy. Providers who attend this session will leave with a concrete understanding of these principles, as well as the ability to identify and serve clients who are appropriate for teletherapy services.
